What gets me is that I used to be good at what I did. I used to DO. Period. I worked hard and people liked my work even though they had to pay me a fraction of what I make now. And now, look at me: a much better wage, but a fracton of what I used to do. If that.

In a perfect world, I'd be making the same amount of money I'm making now in compensation for the same kind/amount of work I used to do (and enjoy!) when I worked for the non-profit sector.
